Talking Tortoise Wins Best Family Business at Stratford-Upon-Avon Business and Tourism Awards

Talking Tortoise, run by husband-and-wife team Jessica Blyth-Sweetingham and Martin Blyth-Sweetingham, has been named Best Family Business at the 2025 Stratford-Upon-Avon Business and Tourism Awards, recognising its commitment to creativity,
storytelling, and building meaningful client relationships.

Founded more than a decade ago by Jessica as Just Jessica Ltd on her kitchen table, Talking Tortoise has grown into a thriving family-run agency, combining strategic marketing with a passion for authentic storytelling. Martin later joined as a business partner, and together they now run the agency. Jessica’s parents, Karen and Clive, contribute creative expertise, while their four children often accompany client visits, sharing ideas and inspiration that help shape campaigns.

Based in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon, the family has grown up in the town and understands the importance of supporting the local community. As members of Shakespeare’s England, Talking Tortoise is proud to be part of the region’s tourism network
and to champion the town they call home.

Reflecting on the award, Jessica said: “I’m incredibly proud of our team and grateful to our clients. Family shapes everything we do. It guides how we collaborate, how we tell stories, and how we bring our clients’ visions to life. We are a small but mighty team, and this recognition means so much to us.”

Talking Tortoise provides public relations services, digital marketing strategy, and content creation for a diverse range of clients. Its success is built on strong partnerships, family collaboration, and a genuine passion for helping clients share their stories.
