Follow the Halloween themed trail with creepy clues and gather round to hear spooky stories of the Castle... if you dare! Explore the castle and seek out the eight Monster hunters hidden around the grounds. There's a Monster themed certificate for everyone who completes the challenge!

Ghoulish Goings on at St Mary's Guildhall

Discover a host of spooky surprises and activities from 25th-31st October at St Mary's Guildhall in Coventry. Take a ghoulish tour of the mediaeval hall, get creative with Halloween inspired crafts, and enjoy a deliciously devilish Halloween afternoon tea!

Vile Veg Trail at Charlecote Park

Explore the Service Courtyard and solve the challenges on the Vile Vegetables Trail! The good veggies have gone bad and now you must complete the trail to bring back the missing fresh vegetables!

October Half Term Trail at Packwood House

The head gardener at Packwood needs your help! Someone has stolen the prize pumpkins and they need you to play detective by following the trail around the grounds to retrieve them all.

Bewitching Bats Trail at Hidcote

Discover the beauty of autumnal Hidcote and entertain your younger monsters with their Bewitching Bats Trail! Pick your trail sheet up at Visitor Reception. Children can also enjoy bat inspired crafts from 28th-30th October at sessions during the day.

Fresh air and fun are guaranteed as you follow the creepy crawly trail around Compton Verney's vast grounds. A fearsomely fun activity for the whole family (including the grown ups!) to enjoy.

Step into a world of spells, pumpkins and playful mischief at Fairytale Farm. Follow their Mystical Trail of Puzzles and Riddles, collect clues in your very own Spell Book Passport, and discover enchanting surprises along the way.

The streets and buildings of Shakespeare's England are filled with terrifying tales. Join one of the many spooky walks and tours taking place during Halloween...

Halloween Ghost Walk (with Stratford Town Walk) 

Join the award winning Stratford Town Walk for an eerie wander around the dark streets of Stratford upon Avon with your costumed guide. There will be two Halloween walks on Friday 31st October from 6pm and 8pm. Booking is essential.

Halloween Spooky Tours at the Lord Leycester

Discover the ghosts of the Lord Leycester with their spooky evening tours from 27th - 30th October from 6.30pm. From headless knights to medieval monks, hear the chilling tales of spirits said to still walk the ancient halls of The Lord Leycester. Booking is essential as spaces are limited. Suitable for ages 7 and over.

Autumn Line Up for the Stratford Literary Festival

Stratford Literary Festival (Autumn)

The Stratford Literary Festival returns for its autumn run from 30th October - 2nd November. Their biggest ever Autumn programme includes talks, workshops and audiences with some of the literary world's most exciting names - from Graham Norton and John Cleese, to Joanna Page and Dame Denise Lewis. Beep Beep Build at the British Motor Museum

Ready to get creative? The excitement is building for October Half-Term at the British Motor Museum.  Visit between 25 October and 2 November to discover a range of fun family activities all week long! Explore the ‘Driven by your Senses’ Family Trail, take part in the Big Build Community project, and discover some of the secrets of rocket science with some of the museum's scientists in their not-so-secret lab! 

Half Term at Stratford Butterfly Farm

Join in the creepy crawly goings on this half term at Stratford Butterfly Farm as they celebrate the amazing migration story of the Monarch Butterfly, and its association with Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead). During half term the Butterfly Farm will be decorated for Halloween, you can follow a Gruesome Insect Trail, and join daily talks and demonstrations from the Butterfly Farm's expert team - you might even encounter some scary spiders too!

October Half Term Activities at the Royal Shakespeare Company

Join the RSC for a week of interactive workshops, storytelling, murder mystery and spine-tingling special effects inspired by Macbeth which plays at The Other Place from Monday 6 October. Their half term programme includes a whole week of intriguing events that are suitable from a range of ages from 5 and over.
