Easter Treats at Hoorays!

Hooray's Gelato Kitchen will be launching their Easter gelato flavours for the holidays, with some seasonal classics like hot cross bun, creme egg and mini egg, alongside a couple of new favourites including biscoff egg and the irresistible Easter nest gelato.

On April 10th Hoorays are hosting a family pottery painting session with Popolo Ceramico. Easter Falconry and Easter Tea Parties at St Mary's Guildhall

Get up close to magnificent birds of prey when an expert falconer returns to St Mary’s Guildhall in Coventry for a special one-day Easter holiday event on 2nd April! Meet owls, kestrels and falcons inside the medieval Great Hall and you can even have the chance to hold a bird for a photo. During the Easter holidays, St Mary’s Guildhall’s Victorian tradition of hosting Easter tea parties for children will be brought to life in a family-friendly trail revealing fascinating stories and surprising facts about the history of tea. As part of the celebration, ‘Mystic Marion’ will immerse visitors in the ancient art of Tasseography, the reading of tea leaves. Mystic Marion will be available at 11.00am and 2.00pm on 29th March and 1, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 April. 

The Easter activities will also include a range of hands-on craft activities including decorating Easter eggs and designing a teacup and saucer using special templates, and fun games such as ‘tea pong’.

Alongside the crafts and trail, visitors can enjoy interactive digital games and costumes to explore up close, bringing the Guildhall’s fascinating past to life.

Easter at the Lord Leycester

Head to the Lord Leycester this Easter for a range of family-friendly activities in their beautiful historic gardens. Activities include a free Easter trail through the gardens where you can search for hidden eggs to discover the secret word! You’ll also discover a wonderful display of decorated eggs created by local primary school pupils, Cub Scouts, care home residents, the Brethren, Lord Leycester volunteers and visitors. Children can take part in free medal-making workshops, inspired by the Lord Leycester’s long military heritage and families can also join a special interactive family tour, led by a costumed characters. Step into the past and explore over 800 years of history through storytelling, roleplay and hands-on activities as you journey through the site together.

Have an Eggs-traordinary Easter Adventure at Fairytale Farm

Discover Stratford in 60 minutes with new walking tour

The award-winning Stratford Town Walk is launching a brand new 1 hour tour on 1st  April The tour offers a quick way to discover the town’s Shakespearean heritage, historic streets and riverside views. It will run from Monday to Friday at 2pm. This guided and accessible walk highlights key landmarks in Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon, and includes discounts at local cafés, pubs and attractions. Easter trails at Upton House and Gardens

This spring, treat the whole family to an Easter trail at Upton House and Gardens. Little ones can try their hands at knocking down the eggs on the egg shy, scurrying like a mouse when you throw our animal action dice and discover how a bee sees the world with our bee and butterfly game.

Easter visits to Baddesley

Baddesley has plenty to entertain you this Easter! With activities for all the family, make sure you pick up your Easter egg and have your sheet stamped!

Robot painting comes to Compton Verney

Families can get hands-on at Compton Verney this Easter with robot painting. The Kineton RAF STEM team are back (1st & 8th April) with their ‘super sphero’ robots. Direct and instruct the spheros via the tablets provided, to move through paint and create an experimental painting. Younger children can build bird nests and make clay eggs at forest school, while older children can try animation filmmaking. Families can also explore the sculpture park and exhibitions. Dig in to Warwick’s history

Discover Warwick’s history beyond its famous castle; including a free 45-minute tour of the town’s Court House on Easter Saturday, where visitors can learn more about the harsh justice meted-out by the court magistrates in Victorian times.
